RAW POTATO

Raw potato is the best in dealing with hyperpigmentation. The enzymes present in potatoes are capable of restricting the pigments to effect further. The remedy is extremely simple. Raw potato should be cut into half, and the fleshy part can be directly applied to the affected part. Rub in a circular motion for three to four minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Repeating this treatment two-three times a week could improve the skin visibly.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Apple Cider Vinegar is a miracle tonic, and it has various uses, especially when it comes to skincare. ACV reduces discoloration from the skin, and it makes the skin supple and dewy. ACV should never be used directly to the skin. This will cause burns as it is an acid. ACV and Water should be mixed in 1:2 ratio before performing any skin treatment. Apply this mixture to the affected area using cotton, or you can even spray it. Rinse with lukewarm water after five minutes. Repeating this twice a day can reduce dark spots.

RED ONION

Red onion is rich with anti-oxidants and is abundant with Vitamin C. Hyperpigmentation is a form of the oxidation process, and hence red onion with its anti-oxidation properties can reduce discoloration. For this treatment, the red onion should be cut into half. The halves are to be rubbed on the affected area. Rinse with lukewarm water after 10 minutes. This should be continued twice a day until you see the difference.

ALOE VERA

Aloe vera effectively lightens the dark spots on your skin with the enzymes present in it. Aloe Vera also soothes the skin with a cooling effect. For this remedy, fresh aloe vera juice must be used. Gently apply Aloe vera juice over the skin and let it dry for 15 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat this every day and experience lighter skin.

 

All these natural remedies are effective, but to make it lasting, you have to apply sunscreen every day before getting into the sun. Consume more food with Vitamin A as they are rich with antioxidants. Last but not least, drink plenty of water to experience soft and supple skin.
